A CEO’s alleged affair got exposed on Coldplay’s Jumbotron & the internet did not hold back
Love. It’s one of the greatest feelings a human can experience and something we all (well… not me) crave.
As many people say, love conquers all.
Let’s hope that’s true for Astronomer Software’s CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot.
What started as a Coldplay concert cuddle turned into a full-blown PR disaster… in front of thousands.

During Coldplay’s infamous concert Kiss Cam moment, the camera landed on the pair, and what should’ve been a sweet, “aww” moment turned into pure chaos.
Instead of leaning into the moment, the two immediately backed off and started doing the worst thing you can do when trying to be lowkey - they hid.
On a Jumbotron. In 4K. At a sold-out stadium.
Now, you’d think this was a cute story of colleagues turned lovers, right? Wrong.
The camera exposure wasn’t just metaphorical. According to social media sleuths, both Byron and Cabot are married… just not to each other. Yikes.
One TikTok user captured the entire moment and posted it online where it exploded.
Then came Chris Martin’s wild (but accurate) observation:
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy.”
BINGO. It’s giving adulterous awkwardness, not introverted intimacy.

Of course, the comments section turned into a full-scale detective agency, and the tea was hot.
“Andy Byron Chief Executive Officer of Astronomer & Kristin Cabot Chief People Officer of Astronomer. Definitely an affair.”
This user had the receipts and the job titles.
“I doubt they were having an affair perhaps they just don’t want to be on social media for personal reasons or safety or if they were faking being sick to get off work.”
Bless your optimistic heart, internet stranger. Sadly, we all know an affair when we see one, sis.
