We recently got through our five-part Unshaken podcast series that had five of our powerhouse females at East Coast Radio, Carol Ofori, Keri Miller, Minnie Ntuli and Stacey Norman chat about some key topics that many women deal with on a daily basis.

One of those topics that got all of us feeling like we need more of this in our lives, was the one based on Body Positivity. When it comes to this topic, there has been much contention online and on-air around what this means to different women. The one thing that comes out on top is being positive and loving your body no matter what...

In case you missed it, you can listen to it below...

In saying that, we came across this man who's TikTok account is dedicated to celebrating his curvy wife and promoting body positivity amongst women who are curvier. He embraces them and is a rapper so does short videos highlighting his love for curvy women.

"Curvy Wife Guy has brought his unconventional brand of body positivity to TikTok where, perhaps surprisingly, his messaging has been met by a welcoming audience." (Daily Dot) He has received some mixed feelings from some social media users as they said he is objectifying curvy women and inadvertently saying that thin women are not "real" women.

But the mixed feelings hasn't stopped him from pushing forward with his content, that seems to resonate more with the TikTok family. We love his energy and think that his intentions are good and he represents feminism in a world where the topic is misrepresented.

"The positive reception on TikTok could possibly be attributed to the platform’s younger audience and a culture of body acceptance and self-love on the app. The hashtags #bodypositivity and #bodypositive have accumulated 13.8 billion and 4.1 billion views, respectively, on TikTok." (Daily Dot)

Check out one of his videos with his wife showing off his love of her in all ways.
