WATCH: "Let's try and get him over this fence safely..."

Life is constantly teaching us lessons, but the thing is that we are sometimes not listening. Many people say that we should be living a mindful life, be aware and conscious of our thoughts, and that that's part of the secret to life. 

We are not against that, but we also think that sometimes it's more than that, it's got to do with being brave and following your instinct. Not everything is what it seems at first glance.

For instance, we saw the beginning of this video and it immediately took us to defence mode, thinking what is going on here, is this man hurting this animal?

But upon further viewing, we realised that he was actually trying to help this furry fellow out. But it showed us that sometimes we are so quick to think of the bad instead of practicing the pause and assessing the situation first. 

That right there is a teachable moment...
