As we approach the end of a beautiful month, one that has taught us a lot about different women from all around our communities, our country, and even the world, we wanted to highlight a woman who is adding to the concept of being bold and certainly unshaken.

The women of East Coast Radio release the second episode of their five-part podcast series dedicated to Women's Month. The 'Unshaken' series talks about some key topics and today it is about body positivity. On that, we decided to highlight a young woman who is truly reflecting the traits of a go-getter.

Nomvelo Zondi graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with her Bachelor of Law degree and moved to Richards Bay. One of the things that has always driven her to succeed is being in a position to help others.

This is the main motivation for her new venture, which is a boutique law firm, situated in Empangeni, north of Durban.

She wants to be an inspiration to young black women by proving that anything is possible in life.

She shared that as much as it has been challenging starting her business during the pandemic, it has a silver lining in that it has been fulfilling for her, as she has realised her dream.

Over and above being a lawyer, Nomvelo also runs her own cleaning company and is also a traditional healer. A woman of many different roots and she is just 27! We are sure that we can expect to see more from her in the future...
