When you think you've seen it all from our friendly neighbourhood monkeys, they surprise you.
A video shared on social media showed a monkey doing what we would like to think is his best human impression. This little guy was recorded running frantically along a roadside believed to be in Chatsworth, Durban.
It's the end of the month, so people will be busy rushing around trying to get their month-end affairs in order. Watching this monkey in action was the perfect visual to describe people this weekend.

It was humorous to hear how this Durbanite turned the popular TikTok sound made for Cape Town into a jingle for Durbanites, specifically for those living in Chatsworth.
While the video was amusing, what was not was seeing this particular monkey's hands, which looked like they had been cut off. We might be completely wrong, and it could have been born like that, but it prompts us to remind people that monkeys are not the enemy.
It is our behaviour that impacts on them.
Check out these tips on how we can co-exist with them.
