A venomous snake attack on a two-year-old boy has left people shocked because the little boy survived after biting the snake's head.
A miraculous story about a two-year-old boy who fought back after a snake attacked him has made headlines worldwide.
According to Malay Mail, the little boy, Govinda Kumar, started the fight. According to the boy's relatives, he was playing in the backyard and threw a brick at the snake moments before it retaliated.
"Govinda Kumar was in the yard near his home in Bankatwa village, in Bihar’s West Champaran district, when the venomous snake lunged at him and wrapped itself tightly around his hand," reports Malay Mail.

Kumar didn't take the snake's attack lightly and bit the snake's head, killing it. Moments later, the toddler fell unconscious and was rushed to the local health care centre.
He was transferred to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) in Bettiah.
Doctors confirmed that the injuries the snake sustained on its head and mouth were the result of its death.

"Dr Surab Kumar, who is treating (Kumar), said the venom did affect the child, but 'not fatally' and that 'timely treatment saved (his) life,” reports Malay Mail.
"The child is currently in a stable condition and remains under close observation. Anti-allergy medication has been administered, and doctors are monitoring him for any delayed effects of the venom."
In 2022, a two-year-old girl from Turkey was attacked by a snake, and she also bit the snake and saved herself.
Children shouldn't always be seen as easy targets. It's because of their fearlessness that they can respond tit for tat.
