Weddings are a vibe. Not only do you get to celebrate the union between two families, but there's also the music, dance, food, and the memorable moments that sometimes get marked in time on social media.

While weddings in general can be one big party, Indian weddings are known for taking it up a level, with their colourful attire, different ceremonial traditions, and, of course, everyone's dance moves.

A video that caught our attention shows the night before the wedding, also called the Hurdee night for some Hindus.

In the video, everyone seems to be having a good time on the dance floor.

A young man approaches an older woman wearing a brightly coloured saree and sunglasses. Her subtle dance moves match her elegance. The young man is at her feet as if trying to swoon her.

Suddenly, the woman's husband comes and jokingly breaks up the moment and wags his finger at the young man as if warning him. All the while, the grandmother happily continues dancing.

Everyone around them laughs it off, and it is cute to see the man still getting a little jealous after 60 years of marriage.

The Durban bride, Alka Jiven, posted the video, and the older woman is her grandmother.

The Hurdee night was filled with glitz, glamour, and lots of family fun, with the bride and groom's families coming together for their joint Hurdee ceremony.

Social media users were left smitten in the comments. One person wrote, "Nana is still so possessive." Nana means grandfather in Hindi.

Another said, "May this kind of love kidnap me."

One person said, "I want to be this iconic at her age."

"Love never looked this cool before. Proof that soulmates don’t age, they just get groovier."
