They say if you love something you should set it free and if it comes back it's yours, if not it was never meant to be...

The saying usually applies to people and relationships, but what if you accidentally "set something free" by misplacing it or losing it?

Or worse, what if it was just stolen from you?

Humans can find their way back to another person but a phone or car can't return to its original owner, it's an inanimate object!

Sometimes you just have to have some faith in humanity.

A bizarre dilemma, however, would be if the person who stole your car also returned it to you.

Like in one instance where a thief not only took a woman's car, but there was also a surprising turn of events which you can read more about right here.

Although this story is probably a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, one thing that is applicable to many different stories is that usually when something is lost or stolen, you are not getting it back.

Unfortunately, not everyone gets a positive plot twist.
