Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini condemns N3 truck attacks

Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini has condemned the attacks on truck drivers on the N3 between Durban and Johannesburg.
Speaking at an imbizo at Ulundi Stadium, monarch urged South African job seekers to put an end to these protests against foreign drivers.
"These are the things we cannot tolerate. If people want to be addressed about certain issues in their industry they rather burn down trucks. These things really make me not to forgive my people, who are also part of this grand scheme of what is happening along the N3," he said.
"If this is how we want to address matters, this is wrong. We have to tackle issues with intelligence, not with violence."
Police said last month they'd arrested 91 suspects so far.

"Because if there are people from outside the country who are corrupt, you are also corrupt."

King Zwelthini said trucks also travel into other countries, saying attacking vehicles is not the answer."If this is how we want to address matters, this is wrong. We have to tackle issues with intelligence, not with violence."
Police said last month they'd arrested 91 suspects so far.
The N3 Toll Concession also released a statement recently urging people to plan longer trips along the route during daily hours.
