The South African Weather Service has also issued a 'Watch' for severe thunderstorms and heavy downpours over northern and eastern parts of the province tomorrow.


Maximum temperatures will remain in the high teens or mid to low-twenties at most stations tomorrow.


In Durban, there is an 80 percent chance of showers and thundershowers in the early morning -- with rain extending into the afternoon and evening.

Similar conditions are expected in Richards Bay and Pietermaritzburg as well.

Margate and Ulundi - 23
Newcastle - 21
Ladysmith - 20
Mooi River - 18
Pietermaritzburg - 19
Kokstad, Giants Castle and Underberg - 15

Sea swells will reach 2.5m.

There is a 30 percent chance of rain on Sunday morning -- with partly cloudy and cloudy conditions expected in the afternoon and evening respectively.
