Weather service issues severe storm warning in KZN

Severe thunderstorms are expected over parts of KwaZulu-Natal this afternoon.
The South African Weather Service has issued a 'Watch' for western areas of the province.
There is a 60 percent chance of storms in Mooi River, Ladysmith, Newcastle, Ulundi, Kokstad, Pietermartizburg and the Drakensberg.
Partly cloudy conditions have been experienced in most regions this morning.

Forecasters say there is a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms later along the coast, including Margate, Richards Bay and Durban.There is a 60 percent chance of storms in Mooi River, Ladysmith, Newcastle, Ulundi, Kokstad, Pietermartizburg and the Drakensberg.

Hot conditions are expected again tomorrow, with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers and thundershowers.
