WATCH: Serious collision leaves 18 injured, two critical in northern KZN

There has been a major accident in uMkhanyakude in northern KZN.

It's left 18 people hurt - two of them critically.
The crash on the N2 near uMfolozi involved a minibus and a bakkie.

KZN Emergency Medical Services says some of the victims had to be freed from the wreckage.
The accident has resulted in severe traffic backlog.

EMS's Robert Mackenzie says the exact cause of the accident is not known at this stage and will be investigated by police.
