Chaos on the M7 as multiple collisions clog up the highway
There have been multiple crashes on the M7 Durban-bound between Main Road and Bellville Road in Malvern this morning.
Medics say at least 10 people have been injured.
Garrith Jamieson who is with KZN VIP Medical Paramedics says the actual collision occurred on the M7 where a vehicle overturned with multiple injuries and then caused a backlog.

"Another four collisions occurred involving a truck and four cars behind two cars and further on behind that, it's just been multiple collisions."
Tim Hardcastle, a doctor who was driving past, says he stopped to assist the victims of a car that had overturned.
"There were seven occupants in the vehicle, I assessed all of them and just waited for the first ambulance to arrive on the scene and handed them over. The patients are all stable but complaining about various injuries."
