Metro cop injured while attending multi-collision on M7
A Metro police officer has been knocked down while attending to multiple crashes on the M7 in Malvern, this morning.
Medics say the officer was knocked down while attending to the six collisions between Main Road and Bellville Road.
It's not known what caused them.
At least 10 other people were hurt, among them a woman - who was left in a critical condition.
A medical chopper arrived to airlift her to safety.

Traffic is severely affected on both sides of the M7 and motorists have been advised to use other routes.
