Family and community members have gathered outside the Verulam Magistrates Court demanding no bail for the 62-year-old man accused of the murder of a woman and her two-year-old daughter.
Ntombifuthi Blose, 34, and her child, Swelihle were both murdered at their Mount Royal home in Phoenix, north of Durban earlier this month.
Angry community members have gathered outside the court singing, and holding placards demanding justice for Blose and little Swelihle.

Some neighbours spoke to Newswatch and said enough is enough. They are also calling for an end to gender-based violence.
Blose’s sister says the family are completely shattered by the deaths and are hoping the court will keep the accused behind bars.
"My family is torn up about the situation. My mother has BP and is not able to be here."
Angry community members are demanding that bail be refused for the man. One of their neighbors says if he is granted bail, they will take the matter into their own hands @ECR_Newswatch pic.twitter.com/iB0OF2M4AK
