WATCH: AKA fans lay bouquets, candles at scene of star’s death
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Fans of slain hip-hop star AKA are still reeling following the news of his death.
Kiernan Forbes and friend, chef Tebello Motsoane, were gunned down on Durban's Florida Road on Friday night.
Over the weekend, grieving locals have been laying bouquets of flowers and candles on the pavement outside the restaurant where they were shot.
It's believed the 35-year-old rapper was celebrating his birthday with a group of friends, and was leaving to perform at another venue when he was killed.

Police are still investigating the motive for the attack.
Two Florida Road barbers spent time with AKA and his friends, who went to their shop for a haircut, earlier that day.
They says they can't believe he's gone.
"You could just see on his face he was happy. He sat down, got his hair cut he was happy."
