Road Traffic Management Corporation spokesperson, Simon Zwane says the administrative clerk entered false eye tests in 2018.

"There is an allege that she fraudulently entered eye tests and did bookings on behalf of applicants, who were not there physically at the testing centre to make the arrangements. These arrangements must be made by applicants in person," he said.

Shelembe's sentence is suspended for five years. During this period, she is not allowed to consume any alcohol. She will also have to do community service.
