Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A licensing office examiner from Howick - charged with fraud and corruption - has been released on bail ofR1000.

The examiner was accused of issuing fraudulent learner licences - and was among a number of officials who lined up in court yesterday.
Simon Zwane - who's with the Road Traffic Management Corporation - says 19 suspects have been arrested at the Howick licensing centre since last year.
"We want to advise people to go through the right processes - because if they use shortcuts - they can be caught, be arrested and convicted," Zwane said.
