Umlazi man killed in collision with Durban Transport bus
A man has been crushed to death in a collision involving a Durban Transport bus and a car in Umlazi, south of Durban.
The crash took place on a busy stretch along South Coast Road just before the N2 bridge during this morning's peak hour traffic.
Jamieson says they were treated on scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says passengers from the bus were also hurt.

Jamieson says the car and bus collided in a T-bone formation."Unfortunately the driver of the car, believed to be in his thirties, sustained major injuries. There was nothing medics could do for him and he was declared dead at the scene."

Several passengers from the bus sustained minor injuries.Jamieson says they were treated on scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
