Pedestrian killed in Margate crash

A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a car on the R61 in the Seaslopes area, near Margate on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.
Emergency services say the pedestrian died before they arrived at the scene last night.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service spokesperson, Craig Botha says the occupants of the vehicle were not hurt.While, the exact circumstances leading up to the incident are still unknown, initial indications are that the pedestrian was knocked over while allegedly trying to cross the road.
