Two Durban suspects to appear in court for allegedly killing man

Two suspects are due to appear in court for allegedly killing a 25-year-old man, who they accused of being a house robber.

The 31 and 42-year-old men were nabbed in the Newlands East area on Monday.

Police spokersperson Thulani Zwane says the suspects allegedly led an angry mob to the victim before they attacked him.
Zwane said: "The victim managed to flee to Siyanda while being chased by his accusers. He was eventually caught and severely assaulted. His family came to his assistance and he was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries".

The arrested suspects are expected to appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court soon.
