Tributes pour in for singer Zahara

Tributes are pouring in for singer Zahara who
has died at the age of 35.

It's understood the Loliwe hitmaker, whose real name is Bulelwa Mkutukana, died in a Johannesburg hospital on Monday evening.
Minister Arts and Culture Zozi Kodwa paid tribute to the musician, saying she made an incredible and lasting impact on South African music.
Singer Lady Zamar posted on X, praising the multi-award-winning artist, saying Zahara paved the way for other performers with her iconic presence and guitar in hand.

Two weeks ago – Zahara’s family put out a statement on Instagram, confirming that the singer was admitted to hospital following complaints of pain.
She has released five albums during her career.
