Likhethe says they can't yet give an estimate of the damage.
"As we're talking, Transnet has put together a team of investigators to get to the bottom of the incident itself. It's difficult right now to say exactly what happened. It is our belief that once the investigation has been concluded - we will be able to know what caused the fire and the extent of the damage as well," he said.

Meanwhile, firefighters who've been hard at work are relieved after successfully managing to separate the flames from the fertiliser and other highly flammable and explosive chemicals being stored in an unaffected part of the facility.
Strong winds on Friday had helped fuel the raging inferno - leaving officials extremely worried it might reach the hazardous chemicals, which also include ammonium.
