Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
More suspicious devices have been found in Durban - this time in the Morningside area.
Police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala say that just after 10pm last night, officers were dispatched to Gladys Mazibuko (formerly Marriott) Road.
“A device was found under the vehicle,” she says, “No injuries were reported”.
Just over an hour later, they were called out to the corner of Avondale and Milner Roads.
“The Explosives Unit members went to the scene to investigate what type of device was used,” Gwala says.
She says that neither device was detonated.
The Berea SAPS is investigating charges of contravening the Explosives Act.
Gwala says that their investigations are continuing.
Then yesterday morning, police confirmed the discovery of yet another device at Woolworths Gateway.
