Suspect killed in Ballito was on police’s wanted list – Cele
Police Minister Bheki Cele says one of the murder suspects who was killed in a shootout in Ballito was on the police's wanted list.
The man and an alleged accomplice were tracked down to an estate after five people were shot dead in the parking lot of a shopping centre in Richards Bay last week.

Both were killed during the shootout with police several days later.
Cele says detectives are looking for another suspect.

"Two rifles, two shotguns, four 9mm, 58 rounds of rifle live ammunition, 14 shotguns live ammunition and 39mm live ammunition rounds were confiscated during that operation.
"So anybody who comes with an argument that innocent people were shot there must look at this. These were not vases of flowers of things that were found."
