Still hope for KZN sardine run this year
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Last week's sardine frenzy on the upper south coast has abated on the province's coast, for now.
The KZN Sharks Board says things have turned quiet since the weekend, with some sardines netted at Isipingo, south of Durban on Sunday.
The fish descended on Scottburgh's main beach, on the KZN south coast last week, marking their first appearance in the province.
The board's Mike Anderson-Reade says there has been quite a lot of activity reported in the Eastern Cape.
