State Capture: Audio recordings of Zuma to be submitted as evidence

Bundles and bundles of evidence are to be rolled out before the State Capture Commission of Inquiry.
Advocate Thandi Norman says they will be submitting audio recordings of former President Jacob Zuma, former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan as well EFF leader Julius Malema as evidence.
Zuma's legal team is yet to decide whether our former president should appear before the commission.
The lawyers want to attend the testimonies of witnesses who implicate their clients in state capture.
Meanwhile, Treasury’s Chief Procurement Officer, William Mathebula is expected to be the first witness to give evidence.
He will explain government's procurement process and weigh in on the Estina scandal where at least R200-million worth of state funds were allegedly looted by Gupta associates and officials from the Department of Agriculture in the Free State.
Norman says a forensic report into the project will be submitted as evidence.

"The encountered a lack of co-operation from some of the State employees and they were not placed in possession of some of the documents they requested," she said.
