Zuma, Gupta legal team to attend State witness testimonies

The lawyers want to attend the testimonies of witnesses who implicate their clients in state capture.

The commission's Advocate Vincent Maleka says they will still have to apply to cross-examine the witnesses.

"We have confirmed with our learned friends that they will be entitled to attend, be present and listen to the oral testimony as and when those witnesses testify.

"They will apply at a moment convenient to them, regarding the privilege of cross-examining any or all of those witnesses. It is not clear to us when that application or those applications will be made," Maleka said.
