He was speaking during the debate of the State of the Nation Address earlier.

New President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered his maiden State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Friday evening.

Malema says Ramaphosa should no longer offer refuge for those who are implicated in any form of corruption.

"You removed the Eskom people because of allegations. You didn't waste time. You waste time to remove your own colleagues here. The reason why you jumped that line, of saying you are going to arrest people, is that you wanted to save Ace's face. Why? Because you continue to protect your own," he said.

DA leader, Mmusi Maimane says a lot of work lies ahead for Ramaphosa and they will work to support him where possible.

Maimane says Ramaphosa is inheriting a dysfunctional system, making reference to the quality of education in the country.

"In the latest global tests - four out of five of our boys and girls cannot read with meaning by the end of Grade 3. We have failed to set our children up for a future that they deserve. Learners in our poorest schools cannot compete with peers in the richer schools. This, Mr. President is reinforcing inequality," he said.
