Today’s proceedings wrapped up with investigating officer, Warrant Officer Rajen Govender still in the box.

The defence has now completed its cross-examination of Govender and Public Prosecutor, Surekha Marimuthu does not expect the State’s re-examination to be a lengthy one.

The case is due back in court next month for Marimuthu to re-examine Govender and for closing arguments.

Lee went missing from outside a Durban North property in January.

Her badly burnt body was found on a farm in New Hanover in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

Earlier in the week, a voice note purported to be that of private investigator, Brad Nathanson was played out in court.
