Second body recovered after taxi swept away in Weenen

A second body has been recovered after a minibus taxi was swept away in Weenen over the weekend.

The fully loaded taxi had been trying to cross a flooded low-lying bridge on Saturday while travelling to Phofeni.

The KZN Cooperative Governance says another victim, a woman in her forties, drowned.
Thirteen passengers were able to get to safety.
The search continues for two other people still missing.
