The man accused of killing Durban musician, Lindokuhle Cele has been
found guilty.

Cele was stabbed at an Umlazi butchery in February last year.
Mvuyisi Noguda has been on trial in the Durban High Court.
The court heard that Noguda stabbed the 23-year-old musician and LGBTQI activist 21 times out of anger.
Noguda – who was known to Cele – claims a friend of his confided in him that he was drugged and raped on New Year’s Day last year, while they were all drinking at a friend’s house.
Noguda told the court because Cele was the only other male with them, he believed he had been the perpetrator.
He says when he saw Cele a month later, he was overcome by anger and stabbed him.
On Monday a judge found that Noguda intended to kill Cele.
Sentencing is yet to get underway.
