Search continues for two suspects in kidnapping, murder of MUT lecturer

Police are still
continuing to search for two more suspects believed to have been involved in
the kidnapping and murder of MUT lecturer Chanlall Dwarika.

The engineering lecturer was kidnapped a week and a half ago.
Dwarika's body was recovered in the bushes in Inanda this past weekend.
Two men arrested in connection with his killing appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.

The NPA's Natasha Kara says Sihle Mkhize and Siyabonga Maye were remanded in custody.
“They are charged with kidnapping, murder, and robbery with aggravating circumstances. The matter was remanded to 13 June 2023 for bail information."
