The Mangosuthu University of Technology says Chanlall Dwarika will be
remembered for his dedication to historically disadvantaged students

The 61-year-old lecturer's body was found in a bush in Inanda on Saturday afternoon.
Police say he was allegedly abducted outside his Sea Cow Lake home just over a week ago.
Two men have been arrested in connection with his murder.
Investigators are searching for two more suspects.
MUT spokesperson Mbali Mkhize says Dwarika was a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate person.

"It's shameful that his life gets taken away in a different environment by young people, though they are the same age as the students whose lives they have changed."
Higher Education spokesperson Ishmael Mnisi says Minister Blade Nzimande will visit Dwarika's family in Verulam on Monday afternoon.
"According to CCCTV footage captured on the day of the incident three men were seen forcing Dwarika into the rear of his car. Minister Nzimande welcomes the swift response by the law enforcement but is equally concerned by the number of university and TVET colleges employees who die at the hand of criminals."
