Police to challenge bail for Miguel Louw accused
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
A memorial service has been held for Miguel Louw at his school in Sydenham. His family joined the ten-year-old's schoolmates and teachers at Rippon Primary School as they bid him farewell.
Miguel’s body was found in a shallow grave in Phoenix last week, two months after he disappeared.
Forty-three-year-old Mohamed Ebrahim - who was seen in CCTV footage with Miguel - was arrested shortly after his disappearance.
He was granted bail - but hasn't posted it.
Today's memorial service was attended by Police Minister Bheki Cele.

Cele says they are looking at challenging the court’s decision to grant Ebrahim bail.
"I know that it was a big problem for all of you when bail was granted," he's told Miguel's friends and family, "Though the person is still not out - Not because he wasn't granted bail but because he couldn't afford it".
Cele says he has been informed that police are "re-looking at challenging the bail" and he says this is due to the strength of their case.
