Miguel Louw's family disappointed by bail ruling

The family of missing Sydenham boy, Miguel Louw is disappointed the man accused of abducting the 10-year-old has been released on bail.

Miguel's family and friends packed into the Durban Magistrate's Court yesterday. His aunt, Tashnim Dos Santos was among them.
"It has not been easy on any of us. It has actually been a nightmare. Everyone is broken. You feel so helpless that there's so much more that you can do. But you leave it to our justice system to do what they're supposed to do," Dos Santos said.
Mahomed Ebrahim has been granted bail of R2500 with strict reporting conditions imposed.
The State had opposed his application but the court has found its case against Ebrahim too weak to warrant holding him.
Miguel has been missing for more than a month. Dos Santos says - while it's a difficult time for his loved ones - they've been touched by the outpouring of support from the community.
"The community has been there even if they're not here physically - everyone is praying. It has not just affected my family - it has affected every parent out there. Everywhere you go, everyone is talking about Miguel," she said.
The case is due back in court in October.
