PICS: One person hurt in blaze at Bellair home

Firefighters have brought a fire under control which had engulfed a home in Bellair, south of Durban.
ALS paramedics were called out to the home just after 7am on Thursday.
Spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says paramedics attended to one person.

"Paramedics arrived together with the Durban Fire Department to find the house well alight.
"Whilst Durban Fire Department worked to battle the blaze for over an hour, ALS paramedics treated one patient for minor injuries and smoke inhalation."

"At this stage, it is unconfirmed however, three puppies are missing and presumed to be deceased."
The cause of the blaze is unknown and will be investigated.
