Four people have been killed following a horror crash in the
Durban CBD. Two cars collided at the intersection of Dr Yusuf Dadoo Street (Broad
Street) and Anton Lembede Street (Smith Street) at about 2am this morning.
Emergency services say the vehicles collided in a T Bone formation in the intersection. Both cars then left the roadway and crashed into a fast food outlet.
One of the cars came to a rest on its roof. A passenger was ejected from the vehicle while it was rolling.

He says the woman who was thrown from the vehicle was found in a critical condition.
“Advanced life support paramedics worked to try and stabilise her, however she went into cardiac arrest. Despite resuscitation efforts she was declared dead at the scene,” he said.
A father and son had been travelling in the second vehicle.
Jamieson says the driver was critically hurt and placed on a manual ventilator.
