Phaahla: SA should remain on level 3 lockdown
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The country should remain on lockdown level three at this stage, according to Health Minister Joe Phaahla.

Phaahla says he'll make that recommendation to the National Coronavirus Command Council.
"Our situation, therefore, remains precarious. No time to release the restrictions.
"We will be in no way be recommending to the National Coronavirus Command Council and to Cabinet a relaxation of the restrictions at the stage."

Briefing the media on Friday on government's response to the crisis, Phaahla said the country's Covid-19 figures are still fluctuating.
"Positivity rate of 23% yesterday and the overall daily infections yesterday of just over 14 000 from the low of just under 7 000.
"So it's fluctuating depending on the time of the week and the number of test which are being done."
