Over 100 arrested for drunk driving in KZN

Metro police say motorists caught driving under the influence, won't escape punishment with a slap on the wrist.
More than a 100 people were nabbed at police roadblocks over the long weekend, for drunken driving in and around the city.
"More than 115 drivers have been arrested for drunken driving. Drunken driving road blocks were conducted within the city area and out of the city. We have noticed that drunken driving is on an increase" Metro police spokesperson, Parbhoo Sewpersadh said.

Officers were also kept busy with ongoing community protests along Cato Manor's Mary Thiphe Road.
