Durban Metro police to reinforce drunk driving operation

Durban's Metro Police say they plan on intensifying its efforts in the fight against drunk driving.

Since Wednesday, more than a hundred people have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in and around Durban.
Metro spokesperson Parboo Sewpersad, says officers have also picked up on a worrying trend in which city car washes often double as watering holes.
