'Not enough words to describe' slain Tongaat woman: Friend

A Tongaat family's battling to come to terms with the murder of their newlywed daughter - allegedly by her husband.

Denver Mariemuthoo, 27, is accused of stabbing Roxanne Thathoni at their Watsonia home during an argument on Sunday morning.

He was arrested at his parents home in Kwadukuza in the afternoon. The pair got married in December.
Ward 16 councillor and family friend, Dolly Munien says Thathoni was well-known in the community.
"Roxanne was a go-getter; she would assist anybody immaterial of your background. If there were anybody who needed assistance, she would go out of her way to assist them."
"She would never leave anybody stranded. There aren't enough words to describe her."
