Husband arrested for allegedly killing Tongaat woman

A man is behind bars for allegedly stabbing his partner to death in Tongaat.
The 31-year-old woman's landlord found her body in her Watsonia Road home on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says the man was tracked down to KwaDukuza yesterday afternoon.
"A member of the community told the police that he heard the woman screaming for help and went to investigate. When he got to the house he stumbled into a man known to the victim who was aggressive and pushed him before fleeing the scene in his vehicle."
"She had multiple stab wounds on the chest and on her body. A suspect, believed to be her husband, has been arrested. He has been taken in for questioning. He will be appearing in court soon," she says.

Meanwhile - investigators are also looking into the deaths of two people - who were found shot inside a car along Pietermaritzburg's Tarentaal Road in Eastwood on Saturday.
ER24 says a third victim was found with gunshot wounds outside the car and taken to hospital.
