New bail application for Durban-based pastor
Updated | By Algoa FM News
A Durban-based Nigerian pastor accused of sexually assaulting young women will launch a fresh bail bid in Port Elizabeth.
He'll return to court on Monday following the postponement of his case in the city's magistrate's court.
The 59-year-old televangelist, who also faces 22 charges, related to human trafficking was denied bail at his previous court appearance last month.
He's been in custody since his dramatic arrest at the Port Elizabeth Airport in April.

The pastor has parted ways with his previous legal team, led by well-known advocate Terry Price. His new legal representative, James Riley, was at court today.
"I received instructions last week from an attorney to act as a correspondent in Port Elizabeth. They no longer have their previous legal representatives. This new firm has taken over. My instructions are to launch a bail application based on new facts," he said.
