#NationalDayofAction: Power must return to the people - Shivambu
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
The Pretoria march under the banner of the National Day of Action is now underway with thousands of South Africans heading from Church Square to the Union Buildings, calling for President Jacob Zuma to step down.
The march is being led by the leaders of most of the country's opposition parties.
Addressing protesters ahead of the march, the IFP's Mkhuleko Hlengwa did not mince his words.
"Amandla! Viva, South Africa, viva! Msholozi, wherever you are - pack your bags and get out. We are not going to stand on the sidelines as young people and allow you to destroy our future. The corruption ends here and goes no further," he said.

The EFF's Floyd Shivambu says the power must be taken away from Zuma and returned to the people.
"People of South Africa, let us continue with the rolling mass action. We will bring this regime down. All of us must unite to bring down the regime of Jacob Zuma," he said.
