Opposition parties kick off National Day of Action

Several opposition parties - including the DA, EFF, IFP, Cope and UDM - are today demanding that Zuma step down from Office.
Civic organisations will join the multi-party led initiative leading to the Union Buildings.
The opposition and supporters have braved the rain - waiting for leadership to start arriving in Church Square, Pretoria.

Police have closed off roads in the vicinity of of the Square to manage the flow of traffic.

The DA's KZN provincial leader, Zwakele Mncwango says it has decided to set up a number of stations in KZN where people can add their signatures to petitions.
Mncwango says the petitions will be handed over to members of Parliament to be presented before the National Assembly.
These protesters have explained why they're taking part in today's march to the Union Buildings.
