Murdered Ndwedwe top cop received threats: Family

The family of the slain Ndwedwe police station commander, say they didn't think his work to combat crime would lead to his demise.
They've expressed shock after Jabulani Ndawonde was shot dead in a drive-by shooting on Monday night.
It alleged the 56-year-old colonel was driving back home when he was attacked near the Bhamshela taxi rank.
His brother, Mbuso Ndawonde says his death puzzles them because he always made time for the community.

"We have seen comments on social media of people saying that this is only the beginning. There were many other threats - but we do not know what is behind this.
"I think the community will miss him - because Jabulani served the community wholeheartedly. Shockingly, this is how they thank him."
