Murder accused in Siam Lee case to apply for bail

The man accused of kidnapping and murdering Durban North woman - Siam Lee will apply for bail next week.
Philani Ntuli made his second appearance in a packed Court 10 at the Durban Magistrate's Court this morning.
Ntuli requested that Magistrate Mohammed Motala have him moved from the holding cells at Durban North SAPS - making allegations of torture and inhumane conditions since his arrest.
Ntuli, who is facing a raft of charges, is due back in court on the 9th of February.
People calling for 'justice for Siam' gathered at the courthouse.

They don't want the accused to be granted bail.
"I was shocked that he was so worried about his comfort and felt that he could choose his accommodation. Siam did not have a choice. I absolutely don't think he should get bail," she says.
Lee's badly burnt body was found on a farm in the New Hanover area in the Midlands two days after she went missing from outside an alleged brothel in Margaret Maytom Avenue in Durban North last month.
