Ward councillor, Shaun Ryley met with concerned community members last night.

"A lot of the members of the community want to try and get involved and assist in CPF structures," he said.

Lee was abducted outside an alleged brothel in Margaret Maytom Avenue earlier this month.

Her badly burnt body was found on a New Hanover farm in the Midlands two days later.

Family members have since identified the body as hers.

Ryley says residents who attended last night's meeting want the alleged brothel closed down.

"There have been reports of certain activities taking place, so it would be my responsibility to take that information to the correct authorities. We set up the meeting between affected residents, the Community Policing Forum and SAPS. We sat around the table to try and find ways to get as much information as possible to assist with any investigations," said Ryley.

Police and private investigators made a breakthrough in the case on Wednesday when a 29-year-old man was arrested in Assagay, near Hillcrest in connection with Lee's disappearance.
