Murchison protesters to appear in court
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Children will line up in the Port Shepstone Magistrate's Court for their alleged role in this week's unruly south coast protests.

Police arrested 47 people - seven of them under the age of 18 were released into the care of their parents.
During the days-long unrest, boulders and other debris were dragged onto the N2 - between Bhobhoyi and Murchison - and an officer was hurt when protesters pelted police with stones.
The locals are upset about the condition of the roads in the area.

Simon April, who's with the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, says there are still issues that need to be resolved.
"The Department of Transport has indicated that there are contractors appointed already, to rehabilitate the road. After Mr. Gumbi presented that report, the issue of the release of those arrested for public violence and damage to property was then raised. They said they wanted those that have been arrested - released."
